a cut above since 1991
Full grooms and breed-standard or custom cuts by experienced stylists. Each stylist works on one pet at a time.
Shampoo, blow dry, brush out, ears and nails. A great in-between service to keep coats healthy.
Nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims and add-ons, available on their own or with any groom.
Gentle baths, brush outs and lion cuts for cats, handled calmly by stylists who know felines.
A Cut Above Grooming opened its doors in 1991 as a one-person salon on Manhattan's Upper West Side. More than three decades later we're grooming the third and fourth generations of some of our very first clients' pets.
We've grown to two Upper West Side salons and a team of skilled pet stylists, but our approach hasn't changed: give every pet individual attention, one pet at a time, with a great bath and haircut at a fair price.
OPTIONAL: a short line from the new owner about carrying on the family business. Her words, her call.
